About Your Guide
James MacLetchie- is one of the most respected nature based and wildlife guides in the Hebrides and has a vast experience in tour guiding around the world and the Hebrides. He is a fully qualified International Tour Guide, a former Countryside Ranger, Tourism Trainer, photographer, and singer in a local rock band. His love of the Hebrides is evident form his many articles in magazines, his work with Gaelic Media and recently being involved in the first ever Green Travel Guides TV that promotes responsible travel. With more than 35 years experience of life in the Hebrides and a Gaelic speaker, he has a deep love for wildlife and the environment of the Hebrides. He strives to deliver quality experiences in the environment through his company Hebridean Adventures while promoting the ethos of sustainable and eco tourism.
