Dining At Lochmaddy Hotel

Relax and enjoy a meal in our Dining Room or Lounge Bar where you can choose from our exquisite fresh local lobster to our hand picked scallops, and not to mention our wild (not dredged) mussels and cockles, we also have fresh squat lobster, local prawns and the magnificent local crabs.  Guests have a fantastic opportunity to sample our local Salmon and Sea Trout, and line caught Mackerel, Herring or Pollock would delight the most ardent of seafood fans.

Our Beef is local island cattle which has been considered by many to be truly exceptional, we also only purchase local Lamb from around the islands.  Our Venison comes from the North Uist Estate and is one of the finest Venisons available and totally organic. 

We here at Lochmaddy hotel butcher and process all our own meat products – a range of Sausages, Homemade Burgers, Pies and Bridies, this ensures only the finest quality meat and ingredients in all our produce.  We also roast all our own meats for our chilled sandwiches or baguettes.

Our Menus change on a regular basis with also approx 5 – 10 Specials per day depending on local catches and availability and this ensures a wide variety of Hebridean produce for visitors to sample.
